Brandon Tseng

Chief Growth Officer, Board Member

Brandon Tseng

Brandon has focused on operationalizing AI for Maneuver capabilities for the warfighter and engaging the warfighter on product requirements to ensure that significant, game-changing value is delivered. Prior to Shield AI, Brandon served as a Navy SEAL with two deployments to Afghanistan and one to the Pacific Theater. His experiences in combat and his deep understanding of the spectrum of military operations help drive the CONOP-based design thinking and product development at Shield AI.

Heath Niemi

VP of Business Development

Heath Niemi

Heath is the Vice President of Business Development at Shield AI. He was formerly the CDO and a Managing Partner for Martin UAV. Heath is responsible for all global and U.S. government and commercial business development for Martin UAV (a Shield AI company). He is also responsible for all marketing and capture management activities to include strategy and business-to-business research for the company while introducing the V-BAT VTOL UAS family of systems to global markets.

Johnny Cochran

VP of Strategy & Engagements

Johnny Cochran

Johnny focuses on strategic engagements using his experience with program management, strategic planning, defense acquisition, military programs oversight, direct congressional engagement, and program resourcing to align Shield’s products and services to best serve the national defense interests. Johnny had an extensive military career as an Apache helicopter pilot and eventually served as the Director of the DoD Close Combat Lethality Task Force (CCLTF).

Mark Russell

Director of Int’l Business Development

Mark Russell

Mark's primary focus is developing growth opportunities in more than 45 countries globally. With 25 years of international experience and a background in C4ISR, 20 years in USAF aviation with 4000 flying hours, Mark brings a unique balance of international experience, knowledge and global reach for Martin UAV and Shield AI.

Clay Kroschel

Business Development Manager

Clay Kroschel

Clay is a United States Marine Corps Veteran with a background of more than 19 years in Military Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and International Management Operations. Today, he serves Shield AI and Martin UAV in a Business Development capacity by managing all V-BAT Demonstrations Programs while also focusing on Commercial and International Clients.

Director of Business Development

Chris Brinkley

Chris is responsible for Shield AI’s business development efforts focused on delivering AI for Maneuver capabilities to the warfighter. Prior to joining Shield AI, Chris served as a Navy SEAL with two deployments to Iraq and one to the Pacific Theater. Chris’ experience leading and conducting combat and intelligence operations overseas enables Shield AI’s products to support DoD strategic objectives, while maintaining a keen focus on meeting the needs of the individual warfighter.

Jack Ambridge

Business Development Account Executive

Jack Ambridge

Jack is responsible for Shield AI’s business development efforts focused on delivering autonomous systems to our warfighters and allies. Prior to joining Shield AI, Jack served as a Special Tactics Officer in the Air Force with deployments to Afghanistan and Africa. Jack’s experience operating in various towns and villages of Afghanistan give him firsthand experience understanding the dangers that urban and unstructured environments pose to warfighters. Jack’s desire to improve the capabilities of warfighters operating in the same environments he experienced align perfectly with Shield AI’s mission to protect service members and civilians with artificially intelligent systems.
