Tae began his career flying the UH-60 Blackhawk and MQ-1C Gray Eagle as a US Army Aviator. He commanded the first prototype MQ-1C unit for U.S. Army Special Operations Command in Afghanistan. Following his military service, Tae transitioned to finance as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Co., where he advised public and private companies on M&A, equity raises, activism defense and other key strategic decisions. Tae earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
